Publications

It's funny how many times I see ads needing publication experience. There are many things to be aware of to be sure depending on the project, be it a magazine, booklet, or even a hard bound book. I actually had little experience with Quark when I took on my first magazine project. It was a 32 pg. full color magazine and was a blast to work on. Having had years of printing under my belt at the time, issues with bleeds, rgb to cmyk conversions, black points and the like were not an issue so I was rather up to speed quickly. These days, be it InDesign or Quark, the job gets done...hmm, I just have to remember not to use the space bar in Quark to pan the page!
